More allegations: Warrant says Jamey Noel charged hundreds of thousands to non-profit credit cards
Another warrant for former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel has been released, revealing more allegations about his alleged misuse of funds.On Monday, we found out that he’s accused of putting hundreds of thousands of dollars onto credit cards that were supposed to be for the Utica Township Firefighters Association, which is the nonprofit connected to New Chapel EMS. Noel is New Chapel’s CEO.The warrant says more than $700,000 was charged to three American Express cards issued in his name for the non-profit, and the charges appeared to be mostly for personal use.It says many of the purchases were at department stores, cigar stands, funds were used for jewelry and more.The warrant also accuses him of using New Chapel’s funds to pay utility bills at his home and other personal properties.Noel is facing multiple felony charges, including theft, ghost employment and corrupt business influence.
