Two men were arrested for stealing a woman’s purse and using her credit cards to buy two televisions and gift cards.According to the Naples Police Department, a female tourist was dining at EJ’s Restaurant located at 469 Bayfront Place on June 28 when someone grabbed her purse and fled the area.She told police the suspect entered the passenger seat with a getaway driver ready to go.Not too long after, fraudulent charges appeared on her credit card at a Walmart.NPD investigators then located the suspect’s vehicle at the Walmart on Collier Boulevard.Investigators and Collier County deputies saw Jacob Christopher Braun, 29, and Trystan James Flegal, 27, leaving the store with a cart containing two televisions.Braun was identified as the suspect who stole the victim’s purse and Flegal was identified as the getaway driver, NPD said. According to Naples police, investigators determined Flegal was the one who used the victim’s credit cards to purchase televisions and gift cards.Both Braun and Flegal were taken to the Collier County Jail.Both were charged with robbery by sudden snatching, and Flegal received another charge of criminal use of personal identification information for his role in the fraudulent purchases.
