A family arrives at their summer vacation destination, rolling their suitcases behind them.
Even though Las Vegas is always lots of fun, it’s always nice to get out of town and do a little traveling. Experts offer some advice with these summer vacation money tips so you can save some cash and still enjoy.
Summer Vacation Money Tips To Save Cash And Still Enjoy
Everyone is looking for ways to make ends meet these days. Inflation has hit everyone pretty hard. Needless to say, traveling costs a lot of money when you consider air travel or gas for your car. Add accommodation expenses. And then, you want to have some fun once you get there, and entertainment is going to cost you too.
So, if you still want to have a fun without overspending, here are some summer vacation money tips to help you save some cash from Fred Harrington, CEO of the coupon website Bountii.
Plan Your Travel During Off-Peak Times
Some summer vacation destinations are busier at the beginning of the season, and some later in the warm months. Here in Las Vegas, kids get out of school earlier than in most U.S. locales. So, traveling and vacationing in a place where kids are still in school will be cheaper earlier in the summer or later in the summer.
Additionally, the most famous tourist spots don’t always make for the best summer vacation. So, it’s always a good idea to do a little internet research to try and find a destination that’s not as busy as the obvious places. You’ll certainly save money if there’s not as much demand to vacation there.
Use Coupons And Discount Clubs
Here’s another summer vacation money tip that seems like a no-brainer. However, many people, including me, don’t make use of it on a consistent basis. Why not search the internet for coupon sites like Bountii?
Or check all of your memberships and subscriptions. Many offer discounts on travel and hotel accommodation to entice you to sign up with them.
Consider An All-Inclusive Package Vacation
Personally, I have never taken advantage of an all-inclusive travel package. But I do have friends who have really enjoyed their all-inclusive vacations. Not only is this a great summer vacation money tip, but you can also save cash when you travel like this any time of the year.
Hotel or resort accommodation for your stay, along with food and beverage, are normally included in all-inclusive vacation packages. Of course, this means you may not be able to indulge in some of the local cuisine at your destination. However, you can always choose a night or two to venture away from your resort for dinner.
These are just a few summer vacation money tips to help save you some cash, yet still offer lots of fun and relaxation. Enjoy, and we wish you safe travels.
