Aug. 26
Vehicle prowl: In the 7100 block of 86th Avenue Southeast, someone prowled a resident’s unlocked vehicle and stole golf clubs and shoes worth approximately $1,500. There was no suspect information.
Vehicle prowl: A resident in the 8800 block of Southeast 63rd Street reported that someone broke into his vehicle and stole $75 worth of items (registration and a drivers manual). There was no suspect information.
Vehicle prowl: Someone broke the front passenger window of a vehicle in the 8600 block of Southeast 75th Street. Nothing was taken and there was no suspect information.
Property found: A resident found a Samsung phone on Gallagher Hill Road.
Aug. 27
Fraud: A resident in the 2900 block of 81st Place Southeast reported the fraudulent use of their credit card for $12,190.86 in purchases.
Aug. 29
Property damage: In the 8600 block of Southeast 76th Place, a resident reported that someone broke the front passenger window on their vehicle. Nothing was taken and there was no suspect information.
Aug. 30
Property damage: A hit-and-run caused roughly $7,000 in damage to a home’s trees and bricks in the 4700 block of Fernridge Lane. There was no suspect information.
Theft: In the 4100 block of Island Crest Way, someone damaged a mailbox and stole mail. There was no suspect information.
Aug. 31
Vehicle prowl: Someone shattered a vehicle passenger window in the 4700 block of 91st Avenue Southeast and stole a backpack and impact drill from within. There was no suspect information.
Sept. 1
Warrant arrest: Police arrested a subject on a Mercer Island warrant for third-degree driving while license suspended in the 6500 block of Island Crest Way. The subject was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines.
Fraud: A resident in the 8200 block of Southeast 71st Street reported that someone used their Social Security number for fraudulent student loans. There was no suspect information.
Warrant arrest: A subject with a Mercer Island warrant for third-degree driving while license suspended was arrested at King County Jail in Seattle and transported to the Issaquah City Jail.
