GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – The Grand Island Fire Department responded to a structure fire Saturday morning at a cleaning business east of downtown Grand Island.
According to Battalion Chief Zach Moel, the fire started around 9:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of east Seedling Mile Road. When crews arrived on the scene, smoke was coming from the loading dock and roof of the business.
The fire took about 10 minutes to contain and all of the employees were able to evacuate safely, without any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
