IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card
Two years ago Chase introduced the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card, a co-brand small business card with IHG One Rewards. It’s a strong card for both the up front bonus and for benefits, and they’ve just raised the initial bonus to their biggest ever total offer.
- Initial bonus offer: Earn up to 175,000 Bonus Points. Earn 140,000 Bonus Points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Plus, earn 35,000 Bonus Points after spending a total of $7,000 in the first 6 months from account opening.
- Anniversary free night: You’ll enjoy a Reward Night after each account anniversary year at eligible IHG hotels worldwide. That’s valid on nights that cost up to 40,000 points but there’s also a new top off option so you aren’t so restricted where you spend the night.
- Generous free night on redemption stays: Cardmembers enjoy a reward night when you redeem points for any stay of 3 or more nights (e.g. ‘4th night free’ which is more generous than comparable Hilton and Marriott offerings).
- Competitive earn: I still don’t see the card as go-to for ongoing spend, even though they’ve tripled the return on unbonused spend (going from 1 point per dollar to 3 points per dollar!) and on an ongoing basis you’ll earn up to 26 total points per $1 spent when you stay at an IHG hotel; earn 5 points per $1 spent on purchases on travel, gas stations, select advertising, and restaurants; earn 3 points per $1 spent on all other purchases.
- Elite status: Platinum for as long as you have the card. You’ll earn IHG’s top tier Diamond status for spending $40,000 on the card in a calendar year.
- Additional benefits: Global Entry, TSA PreCheck® or NEXUS Statement Credit of up to $100 every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee charged to your card. You also receive up to $50 in United TravelBank Cash each calendar year ($25 twice a year). Finally Spending $20,000 on the card in a calendar year earns 10,000 bonus points and a $100 statement credit.

Chase generally only approves those that have had fewer than 5 new cards in the past 24 months (“5/24”) but an important thing to know is that once you get a Chase small business card that should not add to your 5/24 total.
