The U.S. Small Business Administration will provide low-interest federal disaster loans to those affected by severe weather in Randolph and Saline Counties last spring.
Gov. Kehoe requested the relief in response to severe storms, tornadoes and flooding occurring April 23-28.
Up to $2 million in physical disaster loans will be available for businesses and nonprofits to repair or replace damages to real estate, machinery, equipment or inventory.
Homeowners and renters are also eligible for loans up to $100,000 for damage to personal property and $500,000 for damage to their primary residence.
The Small Business Administration is also offering Economic Injury Disaster Loans. The loans assist small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and private nonprofit organizations that suffered financial losses during the disaster, even if there was no physical damage.
Physical damage applications must be returned by October 27, and economic injury applications are due on May 28.
