Alley Harjo has joined real estate developer Haag Brown Commercial’s Northwest Arkansas office as a marketing and creative leader, the company announced.
She will “guide the creative direction behind the properties, developments, and clients we represent across the region from design and branding to the listing materials, presentations, and campaigns that carry our name into the market,” the company stated in a news release.
Harjo earned a degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 2025.
Arisa Health recently announced the selection of Brian Lutz as its new chief financial officer, replacing outgoing CFO Keith Faught.
Before joining work in the nonprofit sector, Lutz was employed by Walmart as an assistant manager working in Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee. He got his start in community-based behavioral health working at Counseling Associates Inc. where he held positions as an accountant, chief financial officer and vice president of finance at Arisa Health.
Muhannad Abdin recently joined Washington Regional Cardiovascular Clinic, part of the Walker Heart Institute, where he provides preventive care and care for both acute and chronic cardiac and vascular conditions.
Abdin has a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and earned his master of physician assistant studies from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Dr. Christopher Blum recently joined the core faculty at Washington Regional Plaza Internal Medicine where he provides comprehensive care for patients 18 years and older. Blum also provides care for hospitalized patients in the medical center as part of Washington Regional’s Hospital Medicine group.
Blum is the UAMS/Washington Regional Internal Medicine Residency Program chief resident for the 2026-27 academic year. As chief resident, he serves as a leader, educator and administrator while supporting the program’s clinical and educational mission.
Blum earned his medical degree from Kansas City University, Joplin, Mo., campus and completed an internal medicine residency at UAMS Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville. He was among the first class of residents to graduate from the UAMS/Washington Regional internal medicine residency program.
Dr. Griffin Sonaty recently joined Washington Regional Rheumatology Clinic, where he provides diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases affecting the joints, muscles and bones.
Sonaty, originally from Joplin, holds a master of public health in global health from Emory University in Atlanta and a medical degree from the UAMS in Little Rock. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Kory Browning has been named market president for Northwest Arkansas at Freeman Health System, the company announced in a news release.
Browning, who serves as chief executive officer of Freeman Health System – Springdale Medical Center, was named interim market president June 14.
With more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience, including prior roles as chief operating officer, Browning “brings a well-rounded operational background focused on advancing quality, safety and performance while providing strong, steady leadership,” the release states.
Katherine Ross recently joined Washington Regional Endocrinology Clinic where she provides diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the endocrine glands, including diabetes, thyroid disease, bone, adrenal and pituitary disease, and other hormone conditions.
An Arkansas native, Ross holds a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Fluent in Spanish, she completed a dietetic internship at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan. She earned her master of physician assistant studies at UAMS in Little Rock. She previously provided care as a physician assistant at Arkansas Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Little Rock.
